We really loved seeing the relationships grow as she befriended the gorgeous, scared dog Angel and the wisecracking transgirl Corinne. But be warned, while not acted out on page, this quick story does deal with animal, drug, mental, physical, and sexual abuse, along with neglect and abandonment.
