Pashmina is an adorable yet profound graphic novel by Nidhi Chanani. American-born Priyanka doesn’t understand why her mother left India, so she goes on a journey of self discovery, travelling to India to uncover her heritage. Pashmina gave us all the feels, with complex family relationships and strong women who receive their guidance from the Hindu goddess Shakti. We particularly liked the use of Hindi dotted throughout the story, and we're sure you’ll agree that Kanta is the cutest magical elephant you’ve ever seen.
